hi Henri love what you're doing. I was Johnnie's band leader and guitarist for 17 years. such an incredible guy. as a kid the first 2 songs I figured out were " Let's go Tripp'n" by Dick Dale and "Wee Wee Hours ". even though I was focused on the guitar part the piano just couldn't be ignored. Johnnie told me when they left the studio after recording, that Wee Wee Hours would be the a side. but as we know the throw away flip side started the fire. Johnnie is one of the arcitects of r&r but he loved jazz and blues. I could talk all day about my dear friend. if you should ever come to St Louis MO please let me know and we'll hang and dinner is on me.
